CHARACTER INFO
Character: Fenris
Canon: Dragon Age 2, mid Act 2.
Age: ~26 (actual age unknown)
Background Information: Wiki link
Personality: Fenris’ personality exists within a shell. First impressions, Fenris is very broody and standoffish. He is often very short tempered, and is quick to react physically to things he perceives as a threat.
Inside, Fenris is a deeply traumatised individual. His key goal is survival, even as far as compromising his own morals to stay alive. He’s willing to use his strength and Lyrium tattoos to torture and kill on command, and in the past has killed allies on command of his former master, Danarius. Fenris does feel remorse for violence when he does not feel like the people were deserving of it.
Despite this, Fenris does believe in the rights to fairness where fairness is deserved in his eyes. He uses his knowledge of Qun’lat to allow Hawke a fair fight against the Arishok.
Fenris yearns for family, and stability. Though he initially tricked Hawke and the crew into helping him, he eventually befriends most of the members of the group. His mistrust of magic, and his fractured memory, and his physically sensitive tattoos are often painful and cause him to lash out. Post DA2, his hurt from his companions going separate ways is easier to process by being angry than by experiencing the grief of separation.
Abilities & Inventory:
Fenris’ body is covered by Lyrium-infused tattoos that resemble vallaslin. The tattoos are sensitive to the touch and allow Fenris to phase through people and objects when in use. They also give him some resistance to magic within the dragon age universe. He’s shown within the canon being able to use his Lyrium ghost ability to rearrange guts, pull out hearts, pass through physical plants and resist magic enough so that he could physically overpower a mage.
Fenris, as an elf, also has improved hearing and vision at night compared to the average person. It’s also mentioned in Dragon Age Inqusition that their eyes are reflective like cats by The Iron Bull.
For inventory he has his initial equipment from the game, his greatsword and armor.

ARMADA SELECTION
He could fit in either, but I would prefer him to be in Corsair. Fenris’ drive for justice would work well within the Paladins. But, I think having him be on less of a leash and more room to play with his newly found freedom, and how his cremates can shape what he does with said freedom could be interesting.
